I know it’s still almost 100 degrees here, but it’s already time to think about those holiday cards!! Or just fun sessions so you can remember the most wonderful time of the year for your littles! A lot of my time slots are getting booked up, but I still have a handful of times available as of today. Those of you that follow me know that I only do themed sessions during the holiday season as I prefer to focus most of my time on family & newborn lifestyle sessions, but I’m sort of a Christmas junkie! Lifestyle Family | In Home Session | Prosper, TX

I feel that when many think of an “in home session”, they automatically equate that to a newborn session. Outdoor and studio sessions are gorgeous and I love them, but how SPECIAL would it be to have a photography session in your home? So many clients question “where can we have a session this year?” and they request something new and refreshing. I always respond with IN YOUR OWN HOME. Why? First of all, the importance of photographs is the memories tied to them. Where you live is just where you are in this season of life. Whether or not it’s your forever home, your starter home, or even some form of transitional home – it’s YOUR home. Right here and right now. It deserves to be documented! Second of all, kids do SO MUCH BETTER during an in home session. They feel so comfortable! They get so excited to show me their rooms and all of their things! Dads can even loosen up too. They are in arms reach of the remote, maybe that beer in the fridge or their room just to have a second to chill out while I focus on other things. So the next time you drop me an email when it’s time for your yearly/monthly/whatever session, consider your home as the location. You won’t regret it, I promise.

This session was so refreshing and just GOOD for my photographer’s soul! I love that she wanted to celebrate her 30th birthday with a photoshoot and her styling was on point.
