There is a lot of love for this little girl.  A mama, a daddy, 2 big brothers and a pretty awesome dog.  It doesn’t get much better than that!  

Birth stories are amazing.  It’s hard to put into words the feelings that I feel when a couple invites me into such a private and special moment in their lives.  The raw and authentic moments aren’t created, they aren’t forced, they just happen.  Moments filled with anticipation, fear, anxiety, joy & relief unfold as a brand new life is welcomed into this world.  It doesn’t matter how the birth happens, c-section vs vaginal, drugs vs no drugs, every birth story is so special and so unique as they bring their little one earth side.

When this mama came into my lifestyle studio, Studio House, I knew we were going to create something so beautiful.  No gorgeous gowns, no epic location, just simply mama and her sweet round belly.  Her world will soon be full of the beautiful chaos that is known as motherhood.

There truly is beauty in the simplicity.

Words can not express how much I love it when I get asked to shoot a maternity session and then their newborn session.  Meeting a couple and seeing their excitement and anticipation while still pregnant and then seeing the amount of love that pours out of their hearts when their little one gets here just gets me in the feels.  Every. Time.  Welcome to the world, little one.  

This family of 3 is absolutely adorable and I had so much fun walking around downtown McKinney getting to know them and capturing some precious moments.
