Senior year goes fast. One minute you're registering for classes, and the next you're handing over a cap-and-gown deposit and realizing portraits are suddenly, actually happening. These photos matter — they'll go on walls, in announcements, in yearbooks, and on phones for years. They deserve to look like you, not a version of you that stood still and smiled politely for forty-five minutes.
I've been photographing high school seniors across the Dallas–Fort Worth area for over a decade, and my approach has always been the same: we start with the portraits you need — the classic, clean, frame-worthy shots that grandparents will love and schools will accept — and then we loosen up and get the ones you'll actually want to post. Candid. Confident. Completely you.
Every senior is different. Some want golden hour fields and flowing dresses. Some want urban backdrops and a look that feels more editorial. Some want to bring their dog, their car, their sport, their instrument — and yes, please bring all of those things, because the details are what make a senior session unforgettable. I love working with seniors who have a vision, and I'm equally great at helping the ones who have no idea where to start.
I shoot primarily outdoors in natural light — it's where I do my best work and where seniors tend to relax the most. I also own Studio House, a gorgeous studio near downtown McKinney, for a more polished, curated look or on days when Texas decides to be Texas. I have many outdoor options across Prosper, Celina, Frisco, Plano, McKinney, & Dallas.

When should I book my senior session?
As early as possible! Summer sessions (June–August) book out fast for the Class of 2027. Fall sessions are beautiful but limited. If you're planning to use your portraits for yearbook deadlines, make sure to check your school's submission date and book with that in mind — most DFW schools have fall deadlines.
How many outfits can I bring?
I recommend 2–3 outfits for a full senior session. This gives us variety for different looks and locations without rushing. Bring options and we'll decide together on the day.
Can I bring my pet, car, sport, or hobby props?
Absolutely yes. These are the details that make your session yours. Your dog, your truck, your volleyball, your guitar — bring it. Just mention it when you book so I can plan the right location and time.
Do you travel outside Prosper and McKinney for senior sessions?
Yes! I serve the entire DFW area including Frisco, Celina, Plano, Allen, Little Elm, Aubrey, Anna, Wylie, Richardson, and Dallas. Travel fees may apply for locations further out — just ask.
Can I bring a friend to my session?
Yes — a hype person is always welcome! Having a best friend there to laugh with often produces some of the most natural, relaxed photos. Just let me know in advance. Or are you in sharing a senior session with a friend? Just ask! We can work something out!
